Determination of genetic diversity between natural and cultured populations of Common Dentex (Dentex dentex) fish in the East Aegean Sea

چکیده

Common dentex (Dentex dentex) is a commercial species of fish that highly valuable food source living naturally near Mediterranean and Atlantic Coasts. Therefore, monitoring maintaining common habitats are high importance. A total 53 specimens were collected from 6 natural (from the Eastern Aegean Antalya coast, which closest coast to Western Mediterranean), one aquaculture facility in Sea. The mitochondrial Cytochrome Oxidase I (COI) gene was used detect 26 haplotypes. Along with COI sequence, real-time PCR highresolution melting analyses performed as rapid inexpensive alternatives. Sequence analysis showed highest haplotype diversity obtained Karaburun Locations, Turkey. Analysis Molecular Variance (AMOVA) based on frequencies resulted 92.54% genetic variation within localities 7.46% between/among localities. mean fixation index (Fst) calculated 0.0746 (p < 0.001). Genetic distances primarily collaboration geographical efficiently confirmed by resolution (HRM) analysis. results will be well facilities where grown.

Disinfection of Gilthead Sea Bream (Sparus aurata), Red Porgy (Pagrus pagrus), and Common Dentex (Dentex dentex) Eggs from Sparidae with Different Disinfectants

The aim of this study is to determine suitable conditions for egg disinfection of gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata), red porgy (Pagrus pagrus), and common dentex (Dentex dentex) with glutaraldehyde, hydrogen peroxide and iodine. The eggs were disinfected with 200 ppm glutaraldehyde (T= 2, 4, 8, 16 min), 300 ppm hydrogen peroxide and iodine (T= 5, 10, 15, 20 min) at four different contact times...

Oxidative stress and antioxidant defenses after prolonged starvation in Dentex dentex liver.

The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of prolonged starvation and refeeding on antioxidant status and some metabolic-related parameters in common dentex (Dentex dentex) liver. Fish deprived of food for 5 weeks showed a significant increase in lipid peroxidation, measured as malondialdehyde (MDA) levels. The activity of the antioxidative enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, a...

Secondary structure of chorion proteins of the teleostean fish Dentex dentex by ATR FT-IR and FT-Raman spectroscopy.

FT-Raman spectroscopy and ATR-IR spectroscopy were applied to study the secondary structure of the eggshell (chorion) proteins of the teleostean fish Dentex dentex. Raman and IR spectra clearly indicate an abundance of antiparallel beta-pleated sheet conformation in chorion proteins. This finding is further supported by analysis of the vibrational data by regression techniques and deconvolution...

The intensity of electrophoretic bands containing egg non-vitellogenin derived proteins in relationship with embryo-larvae viability in common dentex (Dentex dentex)  a preliminary evaluation

Despite the reported effects of egg vitellogenin-derived proteins (VtgDP) and amino acids on embryo-larvae viability in common dentex the effects of non-vitellogenin-derived proteins (non-Vtg-DP) has yet to be determined. As an initial study, fertilized eggs (70 batches) were provided by natural spawning of broodfish in captivity. Viability parameters (VP) such as egg floating, hatching, and la...
